During WWII, tens of thousands of Canada’s young men and yes, women too, were encouraged to enlist to help the war effort. The reality was lost on so many who jumped at the chance to spread their wings and to see the world.  They had no idea what going to war would actually involve as they ran in droves to the signup offices.  Private Edward Clifford Butler from Lucan was one of those who enlisted as a teenager and through word and song, the Amabile Choirs tell his story.
